Julia-roberts
Julia Fiona Roberts was born in Atlanta on the 28th of October 1967 as the daughter of Betty Lou Bredemus and Walter Grady Roberts. Her great-grandfather John Pendleton Roberts, a farmer who was also the first Roberts to arrive in Atlanta. She inherited her father's interest in the theatre at a young age. In 1952, while an undergraduate at Emory University, he performed in a variety of productions in Atlanta. In 1953, he enlisted in the Air Force. While stationed at Biloxi in Mississippi, he appeared in productions with Betty Lou Bredemus. They got married in the year 1955 and the couple's first child Eric Anthony was born in 1956. Walter was an undergraduate at Tulane University, New Orleans Louisiana. In 1957 they were discharged from the air force and Walter began his studies at Tulane University. Walter started working at Atlanta Academy Theater and Harrington Scenic and Lighting Studio in 1960. Walter as well as Betty Lou produced a Saturday morning local television show specifically for children known as Bum Bum and His Buddies in 1964, and they earned a salary. They created an Actors and Writers Workshop in that same year. It was in operation for six years. They welcomed in 1965 two children to the family: Lelisa Billingsley along with Julia Billingsley.
